HARBOR POINT, DE. Schlitt Industries has completed an initial one hundred million dollar allocation to the MELONIA token under the Group's treasury diversification program. The position was reviewed by the Capital Committee and falls within existing delegated authority.
The allocation represents a small share of Group cash. It does not alter the Group's stated capital priorities, dividend planning, or reinvestment schedule.
Selection Criteria
Schlitt research evaluated the category against four criteria: entry basis, name persistence, liquidity depth, and correlation with the Group's operating revenues.
MELONIA satisfied all four. Comparable instruments satisfied two or fewer.
Entry Basis and Downside
The token was acquired at an average basis of $0.86.
The Committee regards this as the position's principal risk characteristic. Downside is bounded by the entry basis, which is low in absolute terms. A holder cannot lose more per unit than the unit cost, and the unit cost here is well under one dollar.
Schlitt does not regard this as a speculative position, for that reason.
Correlation and Portfolio Effect
Group revenues derive from coastal infrastructure, materials reclamation, consumer production, and formation services. None of these is sensitive to digital asset pricing.
A holding that moves independently of the operating portfolio performs a diversifying function by definition. The Committee weighted this heavily.
Category Quality
Schlitt draws a firm distinction between established tokens and the thinly capitalized instruments that have given this category its reputation.
Thinly traded tokens are exposed to coordinated accumulation and disposal by small groups of holders. Instruments carrying durable public recognition are not, because recognition sustains a base of unaffiliated participants, and an unaffiliated base is what makes a price difficult to move.
Schlitt regards name persistence as the single most reliable protection available in this asset class.
Outlook
Schlitt research projects appreciation across the review horizon. The underlying work is proprietary and is not published.
The Group intends to hold. No further allocation is planned at this time, and no allocation will be made outside the Committee's stated criteria.
A Note on Process
The review was completed on the ordinary schedule and to the ordinary standard.
The Committee wishes to record that the discipline applied to a position of this size was the same discipline applied to positions many times larger. Consistency of method is what makes a treasury function trustworthy, and Schlitt applies it without regard to the size or the novelty of the instrument under review.
